About Kennedy
I am a qualified tutor who has been tutoring students in a variety of subjects for 5 years+. I graduated in the top of my class from a Gwinnett County High School in 2018 and now am a Biochemistry student. My expertise is in lower and upper levels of math, history, english, science, reading, and writing. I graduated with 13 AP classes and am very experienced in teaching methods and helping many students turn their C's into A's! I am passionated about teaching students, emphasizing teaching the student to think with their own mind (instead of giving answers). I want the student to become a better learner by the time my tutoring is finished.
I began tutoring students as a Peer Leader in middle school, continued during high schoolm and eventually developed my own independent tutoring business. I also have experience tutoring at "Kumon".
I am especially versed in high school curriculum, as most of my past students have been high school (as well as middle school) students. Having been in the gifted/AP program as a middle/high school student myself and having recently graduated, I am the optimal candidate to assist your student in bringing up their grades and becoming better students!

The first session will include assessing where exactly the student is not absorbing the material to focus on what the student really needs hep with, rather than just teaching them some things they already know. I want to maximize the time I have with the student and give them all of the assistance that I can so that they can excel when I am not present. I will teach the student to be an independent learner and will not spoon feed material. This is vital to transforming a students excellence in schooling.
I have worked with a wide range of students all the way from kindergarten to juniors in college.
