About Emmett
I am a passionate and experienced (3 years) collegiate writing tutor.
By recognizingirecognizing both opportunities for improvement and strengths in your writing, I provide tailored comments to help you improve your essays. I've worked with a variety of writing styles in my years of experience, and with a variety of students. I try to meet students wherever they are in their writing journey.
I enjoy helping my students succeed and grow, as well as working with diverse students.
I have a BA in communications and English, and I bring 3 years of experience as a peer tutor during my undergrad at Regis College to the table.

I loved how understanding Emmett was during our talking. If I didn’t understand something he was patient throughout it all and didn’t move on until I felt comfortable. Overall very amazing tutor, really knows his stuff. I definitely am going to go back to him if I have any future questions, very easy to talk to and understand.
He breaks down difficult concepts and makes them more attainable for students, as well as encourages the use of different perspectives to improve writing technique.
