About Tasia
I really enjoy working with anyone that needs help. I have always really struggled to ask for help when it comes to school, but I would always make sure that others around me knew that they could ask me for help. I love to learn about everything that I can. I am a big believer in setting small goals every day and working towards those goals to reach even bigger ones. While I have never tutored anyone one on one, I have worked in a preschool teaching young kids in Park City, Utah. I am a Junior at the University of Utah and graduated high school a year early. I am studying Information Systems and Chemistry.
I started in a preschool that is also a skiing school. I started out with the skiing children, just taking care of them, ut eventually moved to help with the younger preschool children (2 years old), and help with their lessons in the winter season.
Both of my parents are currently teachers and have worked in the education field for many years. I have learned a lot from them as they have helped me lean good study habits and how to teach others as a way of studying. I have worked in a preschool and enjoy making lesson plans to help the children lean.

I would start by asking them what they feel that they need help with. I would then ask if there are any ways of learning that work better than others, if there are I would use those ways in order for the student to still enjoy what they are learning. I would make sure that the student understands what they are learning before moving on, especially because many subjects build on each other.
I have worked with mainly younger children, 2-5, however, whenever I study I get a group of students together and teach them what we have been learning.
I would tell them that it's okay to be asking for help and that I am here as not only a tutor but as someone who can help you achieve your goals.
A recent event that I am fond of is the 2020 freestyle aerial world cup at Deer Valley Resort. I am a freestyle aerialist on the United States Devlopment Team and enjoy watching my teammates compete in it.
