I attended a rigorous college preparatory High School with a strong English Department (Archbishop Mitty High School) and then attended California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo where I majored in Psychology.
I've been working with students for over 10 years. I've worked independently and also with tutoring companies focusing on reading comprehension and essay writing. I have seen measurable success with my students and I'm passionate about learning.

I always start the process of working with a student by talking to one or both parents about the support needed. I want to make sure that the student and I will be a good fit. After determining compatibility, I will meet with the student and parent immediately before the first session to discuss the tutoring process. After the first session, we have a check-in discussing what was completed. For each session following, I either talk to the parent right after the session or send a brief weekly update.
