About Sarah
Hello parents, my name is Sarah, and I have a degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in English and History. Although I have not been a formal teacher, I have taken the written teacher exams, tutored students in the classroom, done observations, homeschooled my daughter, working on completing my teacher certification, and currently working as an ESL teacher with VIPKid. With my passion of teaching beginning 15 years ago, I feel confident and excited to help your son or daughter improve their English in a fun, educational, and engaging classroom!
One should always do what they are passionate about, and teaching children is my passion. I also trained as an ABA behavioral technician, so I am even more passionate in helping children that may have more obstacles in learning.
For 15 years, I have been involved in teaching children through various jobs or volunteer opportunities.
My college degree had a focus in English, and I am currently an ESL teacher for an online platform.

First we must build rapport. It is important to fully understand what the student needs help with and what the parents' expectations are.
I have worked with children ranging from age 4-16, special needs children, Chinese speaking children, and native English speakers.
Please make sure that you feel comfortable with your teacher, that the teacher is reliable, and that the teacher is engaging.
I am very fond of understanding Autism and the best way to work with student diagnosed on the spectrum.
