About Summer
Hi! I'm a senior in college and my life goal is to become a english teacher. Currently I'm working hard at my classes and plan to become a certified teacher by May 2022. I work my hardest to create engaging study sessions for kids of all levels, and I would love to work with you and your student to help them achieve their best.
I've wanted to be a teacher since my middle school english class. This last summer I spent three months working and teaching at a overnight 3-6 week camp for nuerodivergent boys of varying ages, from that small experience learned so much and made many great memories.
I was very inspired by my middle/highschool English teachers and wanted to be just like them.
I am a senior in college so I have spent multiple hours in a classroom. I also spent three months working at a overnight camp for nuerodivergent boys.

I like to figure out where the student actually is in their academics. I've found that multiple students aren't taught basic fundamentals like context clues and note taking. So it's helpful to get a grip on where to start.
I have worked with kids with diagnosed AHDH, Autism, Emotional Disorders and large classrooms.
