About Bree

Hello! My name is Brena, and I am 19 years old. I am currently a freshman in college with a passion to work with children (preferably ages 5-10).
My major is speech pathology, however I am able to tutor children in basic, elementary math. I am also available for free talk for English learners (unstructured English conversations) as a way to practice English!
Some fun facts about me: I spent time volunteering with children in Bolivia and a Native American Reservation. My current job is a receptionist at a chiropractic office.
I enjoy helping children realize their potential... I believe that with a growth mindset, anything is possible. That might mean that you may have to study 100 more hours than the person next to you, stay up later, reread, and take more notes. But I want my students to realize that even though they may feel as though they need to work ten times harder to get the same results as the rest of the class, they are still making unforseeable progress and developing lifelong skills (such as a good work ethic).
We are all smart. But we are all different. Therefore, no learning path will be the same.
