About Noreen
I have a background in creative and nonfiction writing. For the past seven years, I have worked as a social media marketer where I have written copy for a variety of digital platforms and advertising campaigns. I have also written articles, blogs, stories and scripts.
I enjoy working with young students and helping them become stronger writers. Writing is an essential skill for everyone to have and I like to assist students in overcoming their challenges and finding their voice and language in their writing.
I hold a M.A. degree in Media Studies.
It started when some of my peers in school would ask me to help with their essays and writing projects. I would review their work and offer suggestions to enhance their papers. Afterwards, I started tutoring a high school student in writing literary essays.
During my undergraduate studies, I took several writing courses for both fiction and nonfiction. I also studied literature. I continued my writing studies during graduate school where I received my MA in Media Studies.

I first like to get to know a little about the student, what their prior writing experience has been, what their struggles and goals are and information about their assignment. Afterwards, we can schedule a time to connect either virtually or in-person to go through their work.
