About Breakaway
Breakaway Sportfishing is now the proud owner of not one, but two ultimate sportfishing charter boats! We currently run our charters on a 37′ Topaz Express Sportfisher, and coming April 2016, our new 44′ Pacifica will be ready for charter passengers! Whether you are looking for a day out on the water catching fish, or want to take your family on a vacation to Catalina for an overnight getaway, exploring the island, snorkeling, or doing the many fun things on the island, we have a trip that fits your desires!
All of our charters come complete with top of the line Shimano and Calstar tackle for you to use for the day. All fish cleaning and packaging is included free of charge. All bait and chum is also supplied by the boat. Please remember to bring a valid CA fishing license, terminal tackle, food, drinks, sunscreen and camera.
Our Captains have earned USCG Masters licenses and have a vast knowledge of the areas waterways. This experience ensures both safety and enjoyment on every trip we run.
In addition, we offer tutorial charters for anglers who own boats and would like to maximize the “tricks of the trade” in catching more fish and utilizing their boats to the fullest potential.
