About Amelia
Hi There! My name is Amelia and I am passionate about education! I am 20 years old and moved from Australia to England over a year ago to travel and gain experience in an educational environment and now work as a teaching assistant in a primary school. I believe every child deserves a high-quality education and if I am able to assist them in this in any way possible then that is my goal! I have 1 year tutoring experience, however I have been working in schools since I was 16 so I have a lot of experience around education. I have completed half of my teaching degree and plan to finish it in a couple years' time, once I am satisfied with the experience I have made.

I believe one of the most key principles to teaching is to make learning fun! When students enjoy lessons and what they're learning, they are more likely to remember and be able to recall the information taught. So in these lessons for primary students, I will incorporate fun activities that are engaging and relevant to the topic at hand and then at the end of the lesson we will do a recall where the student can then teach me what they have just learnt, solidifying their understanding. The duration of each lesson is very flexible and will differ for different students, I am a very understanding tutor who is willing to do whatever is best for the student's learning.
