About Aerin
I worked for two years as a physics tutor at a community college tutoring center. I tutored in physics 1, 2, and 3 (mechanics, electromagnetism, and thermodynamics/optics). I worked with a variety of students for about 12 hours a week. During that time, I learned a lot about how to tutor effectively for different learning styles. Before that, I volunteered as a math tutor for middle school students for 2 hours a week, and gained a lot of experience with working with young students. I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in physics from Arizona State University. I unfortunately had to take a break due to various health issues but I hope to complete my remaining three classes soon. Physics has been my passion for 10 years, and there's nothing I love more than sharing my passion with others and helping students get to that "ah-ha! moment" where a concept suddenly clicks.

After tutoring for 3 years, I've learned that students have a lot of different preferences for how they want to learn. Whether you learn best via similar examples, reviewing core concepts, or slowly working through problems, I'd love to help you learn in whatever way works for you! I am very willing to work with any accommodations you may have to make a comfortable learning environment.
I tutor math, from an elementary school level to AP Calculus courses, to university level Calculus 3.
I also tutor high school physics, AP Physics 1, 2, and C, and university level mechanics, electromagnetism, and modern physics.
I can show you some testing strategies and help you build up a step-by-step process for solving problems. I'm able to help review for exams and help you understand homework assignments.
