Coach Dan is a fantastic golf instructor. He teaches based on the individual, is creative and keeps things simple! He focuses on a few drills to help build your perfect swing. My 6 yr old son loves to golf. I am not a golfer by far. Coach Dan and his team has been working with my son to get the kinks out. My son loves taking lessons with KG1. He gets upset when it's not the day of his lesson. Coach Dan teaches the children at their level. I recommend KG1 for any child. Coach Dan has the patience and technique to teach any child golf. Most of all he makes golf fun! I am happy to say that my son has flourished thanks to KG1 and will be starting tournaments this summer!

Dan works well with our 4 year old! He has a great balance between play and serious work.

We wanted both of our kids ages 8 (son) and 5 (daughter) to really learn the game of golf and build a solid foundation. They have enjoyed hitting around the house and going to the course with me occasionally, but we wanted to provide a little more structure and make sure they were learning the game properly.

I was introduced to Dan through a mutual friend, and after talking to him and he gave the kids a free walk through, we jumped in.

It has been absolutely phenomenal for both of them. Our daughter who is 5 is about 42” tall is really starting to learn and understand how to swing, and our son who is pretty raw is developing the right habits. Dan not only teaches the game, but is starting to introduce the ettiquette side of the game too.

He has a great setup for golfers of all levels, has incredible patience, and really understands how to work with kids.

I was looking for lessons for my 6 year old and most golf courses offer lessons but they do not teach at a child's level. My son cried after his lesson because he didnt want to leave. I would highly recommend Kids Golf First.

When my son was 2 we noticed how much he loved watching golf on TV, so we bought him a plastic golf set and he took right to it. We then decided to enroll him at KG1 when it first opened to see if the game really interested him... and not only is he interested, he loves it!!! He can’t wait to go to “Coach Dan’s house” twice a week for lessons. Dan is a great teacher, coach and mentor. He is flexible but firm in regard to his ability to redirect and help the child focus on the task at hand, but at the same time lovingly displays warmth, patience and kindness when relating to your child. He is always excited to see my son when we arrive and goes out of his way to make sure the lessons are fun and upbeat. My son is now 3 and Dan has him using his driver, irons and putter during lessons. I cannot believe the progress my son has made in just 6 months. The Clubhouse in his garage is great for cold days and he has transformed his entire backyard into a learning center with putting greens, chipping areas and even a driving range. If you want a good, fun way to get your child started in golf or have them perfect the skills they already have, KG1 is the perfect place for that. Coach Dan is awesome!!!

I don't know where my son got the idea to play golf but Coach Dad has done a great job teaching my son the different aspects of the game. Coach Dan is very patient and takes his time to show the kids in his class how to stand and swing the clubs for each situation. It's amazing seeing my son get better at golf week over week.

Rider responds well to Coach Dan. He gets the instruction and encouragement he needs to do it right. Much improvement in my son happened in such a short period of time.
