Experienced tutor in Golf in Odenton, George offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

Perfect! First off, George is very personable. Some say that if you can’t do something then teach. Not the case with George. He is a very astute and accomplished golfer who works with the strengths of the student, demonstrates technique and fine tunes his guidance. I recommend him for any level of golfer who wants to improve their skills.

Perfect! George is a patient professional. He knows his stuff and communicates small steps to improve your game. Nothing fancy like you see on the internet. It’s all tips that you can use on your own. He is a big believer on taking practice swings at home. I took 5 lessons and feel so much better about my game. Finally, he is not a “clock watcher”; he wanted to make sure what he is teaching sinks, even if it takes extra time.

Perfect! George is an amazing teacher, who employs a simple yet very effective approach. I felt comfortable from our first interaction, and felt that he took his time to listen to my wishes as far as the lessons I was expecting. George’s meticulous approach is easy to follow, he didn’t complicate things, nor tried to fit me into a swing type. He just worked with what I have and made it better. George is truly a swing whisperer in my opinion.

Perfect! George was a great teacher, who seemed to really care about the progress that I made. I had never picked up a club before. His golf knowledge was immediately obvious and by the end of four lessons, I felt like I had a very solid foundation (and now I'm thoroughly addicted). George was flexible with scheduling and made the lessons really relaxed. Overall, great experience and if I ever have any issues with my game, I know who I'll be going back to.

Excellent! George was a great instructor! Patient, informed and skilled. Easy to work with and we covered all of the fundamentals before moving on to advanced instruction. He made sure my mechanics were solid and then showed the best way to put them into practical application. His instruction shaved between 10-15 strokes off of my golf game with a possibility that I’ll improve beyond that. Besides being a great teacher, he was easy to talk to and kept our classes light - no stress, no pressure, just good directions. Most important was the education on why a bad ball strike occurred and how to fix it. I definitely recommend lessons with George and have plans to send some family members his way.

Perfect! Easy to talk to, very informative, Good Guy in general

Perfect! I've never hit a ball so straight in my life! Highly recommend.

Perfect! George is an excellent instructor that works with your current swing. He was immediately able to point out some flaws in my swing and made an immediate impact on how i was able to strike the ball. I have a few more lessons with George but the few that i have had so far have had immediate impact on my game and i was able to take it to the course for positive results.
Highly recommend George.

Perfect! My lessons from George have been amazing. He is knowledgeable in all aspects of the game, science, swing, rules. He has simplified the game for me, in 3 lessons he has made the game easier for me and has improved my scoring.

He is on time, communicates effectively, and knows what he is doing.

I couldn’t have asked for better value and better training than what I found in George... thank you!!!

Perfect! George is worth his weight in gold. I've had four different pros teach me golf over the years and its amazing what he has taught me in just three lessons. He straightened out my drive (added about 50-60 yds to it too!) to a beautiful draw. My chipping has improved to the point where I'm getting one putt opportunities a few times a round. His critiques and advice are simple and show results almost immediately. I've already recommended him to a few friends and he also provides equipment advice. Amazing teacher of the game!

Perfect! George is a great golf instructor and knows how to get to the issues to fix them in an easy to understand fashion. Highly recommend!

Perfect! Honestly an incredible golf coach. Took my swing from barely usable to pretty fantastic. Will be going back and would highly recommend players of any level give George a shout. Worked with my existing swing, never asked me to do change anything too drastically, and worked with my skill level.

Perfect! George was outstanding, and beyond the lesson, assisted when it came to buying some wedges and even was available to text tips while I was out playing a round. Highly recommended.

Perfect! Excellent instructor. I highly highly highly recommend George if you want to improve your swing, game and overall performance.

Perfect! George is a fantastic instructor. He didn't try to break down my swing and start from scratch -- a too-common tendency among instructors -- but instead helped me to harness and improve my current swing mechanics. George quickly diagnosed an issue with my address position that was causing me to lose a lot of distance with my irons, and he provided me with a fix that was easy to implement and that has improved my iron play immensely. I give George my highest recommendation -- as I said, he's a truly outstanding teacher and was a pleasure to work with.

Perfect! George is fantastically patient, very knowledgeable and has made learning a fun and rewarding experience. I highly recommend him if you a beginner or just want to improve your game.

Perfect! George has a sensible approach to improving my game . Better hand position, proper alignment , follow through.
WHY DIDN’T I THINK OF THAT !

Perfect! On the first lesson George added 20 yards to all my irons. George is very knowledgeable and has a great understanding of the game. I would highly recommend taking lessons from George if you are looking to take your game to the next level.

Perfect! Knowledgeable, easy going, corrected areas without changing everything

Excellent! Geoge saw my swing from top to bottom, he saw each flaw and suggested ways to improve, no one I have ever dealt with has been this on the money with diagnosis and insight into golf improvement for me, I will work on his suggestions and see him in a few weeks as I now see a clear path to golf success.

Perfect! I hired George Rodgers in March to help my 6 year old daughter develop her golf game. In just 6 months of working with him, her swing has improved drastically. During every lesson, he spots her flaws and effectively provides age appropriate advice. Hes very patient and personable with her. She always looks forward to her lessons with him. Hes been golfing his entire life and his experience is evident every time we're on the range. My daughter is now competing in tournaments and thoroughly enjoying the game of golf. George is also extremely flexible with scheduling and is willing to meet you at your nearest driving range. If you're looking for an experienced, effective, friendly, and flexible golf instructor in the Baltimore/Annapolis area, George is your guy.

Excellent! Reasonable prices, great facility

Perfect! George was awesome. He was able to very quickly pick out the couple of things that I need to work on.

Perfect! George has been incredibly thorough each lesson that I have had with him. There was an expectation that was set at the beginning of the lesson package which I appreciated as he reassured me that I would not be a scratch golfer overnight but I'd at least have a deeper understanding as to why I hit an errant shot and know how to fix it the next shot you take. He keeps the lessons fun and very educational; if you have not had lessons yet and are sick of shooting in the 100's, call George!

Perfect! George is excellent. He takes his time and is thorough. George has helped me greatly

Perfect! I highly recommend George to anyone at any level who is looking to make immediate improvements to their game. George works with your natural tendencies, instincts and swing, which results in a more efficient use of time and more comfortable changes. He is also offers extremely valuable knowledge related to club selection and simplifies the overall mental part of the game. George takes a fun and relaxed approach to the game of golf.
