About Jonathan
My teaching approach: I understand that each student comes into guitar lessons wanting to learn different things. my lessons are customized to fit each students wants, needs and goals. My hope is that each student leaves these lessons with the ablity to create there own music with confidence. I have 17 years of guitar playing experience. I attended Musician's Institute in Hollywood for a year. My guitar lessons take place in: The teacher's studio or the student's home Guitar Lessons with me take place in the following areas: My studio in Wildomar or in students' homes in Wildomar, Murrieta, Temecula, Menifee & Lake Elsinore Guitar Techniques: Guidance In Equipment Selection, Song Writing, Music Theory, Scales and Exercises, Reading Music, Jamming Skills, Improvisation, Performance, Fingerstyle, Rhythm guitar, Lead guitar

Jon is an excellent teacher, very patient and breaks things down great. I like that he also figured out your learning speed to make sure he does not give you to much or to little exercises.
Jon is teaching my 8 year old son, who has never played an instrument before. He has extensive musical knowledge and is very patient and accomodating. My son loves his lessons and looks forward to them every week. He doesnt just teach my son a song or chord, he incoporates music knowledge and theory in every lesson and talyors it to his student's level. My son comes home excited to show me everything he has learned each lesson.
He is very thorough and takes his time to explain the lesson. He uses visual aids that the student can keep.
