About Alex
I have a passionate love for the study of history and government/politics. I have been told by friends and family that I am a very good history teacher and explain things in a fun way. I also have a learning disability so I understand that not everyone learns the same way.
Ever since I was a child I have always loved stories. History is the story of people and I find it very fascinating. Unfortunately I believe that History has been taught in the worst most boring way possible so students get turned off by the subject. I want to change that and ignite the interest in students for it so they can really learn and succeed.
I am a junior at George Mason University studying History. As someone with a learning disability I have developed techniques that can be useful to anyone but especially somebody who may not learn the traditional way.

I will ask them to send me the chapter/lesson they are struggling with so I can properly prepare for our session. Then once we meet I will ask what they specifically are struggling with and help devise a strategy to solve it.
