About Luis
Don't let the funny name fool you! It's just something I like to use for when I play video games and I think it sounds catchy.
I love the Social Sciences! I am a certified teacher and I have been working with students age 4 through 20 for most of the last 30 years.
I like to see struggling students learn. I like it when a disinterested student begins to show interest in subjects that they struggle with.
By accident! I needed a job so I applied to be a teachers aid in Burbank California. I was not a good student myself and was a little bit of a trouble maker in school so I was surprised when they hired me! I realized that I was good at teaching children especially those with "special needs" and some of the more difficult students. I had much more patience and understanding than the other educators.
I have a bachelors degree in Psycholgy over twenty five years working as an educator.

I think that it's important to discuss expectations. What do you expect from me? I have high expectations of you and believe that that a student must work very hard to achieve their goals. It won't be easy, but it will be worth it.
I've worked with all kinds. But I specialize in working with the students that most teachers and parents have given up on. Yes. I have taught in students during their incarceration! In jail! I enjoy the challenge.
