About Mary

Hello! I bring over a decade of experience in tutoring, specializing in ACT/SAT test prep. I hold a Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and have been developing customized curricula for the past 5+ years. I am TPAPT ACT and SAT certified, and my students typically see impressive improvements—over 200 points on the SAT and 4+ points on the ACT.

My approach to tutoring is comprehensive, covering both essential concepts and effective strategies tailored to each student's needs. I focus on identifying and improving areas where students struggle, ensuring they build confidence and achieve their academic goals. I have extensive experience working with students from 7th to 12th grade, and I am adept at both group and one-on-one tutoring settings.

In my sessions, I prioritize creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. I believe that building a strong rapport with my students is crucial for their success. By understanding each student's unique strengths and challenges, I can tailor my teaching strategies to optimize their learning experience.

Moreover, my experience in curriculum development has equipped me with the skills to design lessons that are both rigorous and engaging. I incorporate a variety of teaching materials and techniques to keep students motivated and on track. Whether it's through interactive problem-solving sessions, practice tests, or real-world application of concepts, I strive to make learning both effective and enjoyable.

Outside of tutoring, I am committed to continuous professional development. I regularly attend workshops and training sessions to stay updated with the latest educational strategies and test prep methodologies. This commitment ensures that I provide my students with the most current and effective tutoring practices.

I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential and achieve their academic goals. With my experience, dedication, and personalized approach, I am confident in my ability to make a positive impact on your student's educational journey.

I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and help your student succeed!
