About Heather
I love helping students have that "lightbulb" moment and seeing a smile come across their face. I believe all people are capable of great achievements and will provide encouragement throughout our sessions to help you reach your academic goals. I have over 20 years of experience teaching different ages in classroom settings and private sessions. I am friendly and skilled at helping students stay focused. I am a graduate of the University of Colorado.

I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. After college, I started working as a 4th grade assistant and by the end of the year had taken over a 5th grade class.
I have taught in two K-8 elementary schools as a classroom teacher, worked as a private math and english tutor, worked as a private piano teacher to children and adults in my own studio for 20 years, and coached youth sports. I have a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Colorado.

Your consultation will consist of focusing on your top 3 needs as well as your learning style and any other issues that you feel are important to take into consideration. We will set up weekly hourly times for our tutoring sessions. The first month's tuition will be paid for in full before our sessions begin.
I have worked with students from 4 years old through adults. Most of my students enjoy the one-on-one focus that tutoring gives them, and they like having the opportunity to ask deeper questions than they can in a larger, traditional classroom.
Find someone who makes you feel comfortable. Ask a lot of questions if you don't understand something and we are always happy to help!

Details
Students will be given hour long sessions once per week at a designated time. Each hour will be $50 and each month will be paid for by the 1st of each month.
