About Elmedina
My service stands out because I have taught myself everything I know. I would relate this to being in school and not knowing everything about a class you were forced to take. However, when it was a topic that you were interested in, you could research it for days. I have a passion for everything makeup and skincare. I've been self-taught for over two years now. I'm enthusiastic and an expert in my field. My goal is to encourage you, motivate you, and help you reach a place of happiness and confidence. I am patient and I will include tips and tricks I've learned along the way in my journey. I will look at the problems you're currently facing and seek to resolve them. I will encourage you to practice every day even if you don't like the end result. You will wake up one day and your hard work will pay off and you will notice your makeup has visibly improved. I'm here to help you in any way possible. I am your makeup teacher.
What I enjoy about the work that I do is I help people become more confident. I help them to feel beautiful and it is the most rewarding part of what I do. I think everyone deserves to feel like their best self. This comes through in a number of ways and can be as simple as loving your outfit. Well, I want to help my students LOVE their makeup and wear it out in confidence.
I got started teaching when I realized by this point, I had accumulated enough knowledge to the point where I kept getting any and all questions about makeup/skincare from family and friends sent my way with the hopes that I would be able to solve their problem. This led me to start teaching so I am available to help people who want to learn about makeup.
I've trained and taught myself and used all the resources at my disposal to learn everything that I know. I've given tips and helped various students on their makeup skills.

The typical process would involve getting to know the student more. I'd like to learn about what they already kind of know about the subject so I can further their knowledge on it, talk about the things they don't know about at all and then go from then to design a lesson plan for them.
I've worked with all types of students, the only thing they had in common is they had a love for makeup and a passion to want to learn the craft.

I followed all of her advice and she is legit. My friends have asked me questions about my makeup since taking my lessons and then I tell them about her and how I learned from her. It feels good to make progress. I've always dreamed about being a makeup artist and I think using the resources available to me, I am able to make that dream a reality. Thanks makeupsmurf!!
She answers all my questions and even adds in little tips and tricks that I never thought of that helped my overall makeup improve. She knows what she's talking about and you can tell she is passionate about makeup and helping others discover their passion.
She is so amazingly talented and I love all her work! The most inspiring part is she has pure talent and experience since she is self-taught. I've never seen someone blend as well as her and on top of being an expert in her field, she is very encouraging and makes me want to practice every day to get better. She truly wants you to learn and to want to never give up on learning the craft if it is something you really want to do. I'd highly recommend her.
