About JERRY
San-do-ryu Self-defense system is composed of Japanese karate, wrestling, Aikijutsu chokes and locks, along with kick boxing techniques. The students will be highly trained in the art of Self-defense using stand-up and ground techniques to defend.
Watching students(especially Young) gain confidence in their abilities to learn the techniques and have confidence in theirselve's to put them into practice.
47 years of expereince. 8th degree Black belt in San-do-ryu, 7th degree in Japanese Goju-ryu and 3rd degree in Satori-ryu Iaido and Aikijujutsu. B.S. in Education/Secondary/History/Special needs

We always begin teaching our students proper stretching and warm up drills. We then start from the beginning with basics in blocking, punching, and kicking. Students then learn ground basics, take downs, stopping a takedown, escapes from bottom then finishing techniques. From this point the student will progress with more advanced techniques.
