About Shadman
I hold a Masters degree in mechanical engineering and teaching is a passion for me. I am open to teach anything under the sun that's related to STEM up to the undergraduate level.
I can teach all the way from 5th grade math to undergraduate STEM courses. I am exceptionally good at explaining concepts and all my lessons are personalized to my student's needs.
I have a deep rooted passion for science and math education. Teaching helps me keep my knowledge current and there is nothing more satisfying than being able to develop a young mind's interest in STEM.
The following point to my experience as a teacher:
1. I have been teaching maths and science for 15 years now
2. I started tutoring to help pay for college and quickly realized that I love doing it
3. I taught mechanical engineering as a teaching assistant at University of Houston for 2 years during my Master's.

I take 2 steps before jumping into lessons.
1. I gauge my student's current aptitude in the subject through simple questions or just talking to them, however I don't use it as a factor in choosing my students
2. I find out what expectations my students have from me, for example, improving grades or learning concepts etc
Using these two factors I develop a mechanism to help my student achieve their expectations or ideally exceed them.
I have worked with students between 5th grade and undergraduate sophomores. I teach in all areas related to mathematics and science within this academic range.
I always offer a free class to all potential students to allow them the chance to see if I can help them.
I suggest students demand this before committing to a teacher or tutor
