About Alexander
Do you ever feel tired in your math class? Do you ever feel like you could learn math better if only your teacher took the time to explain it more clearly? I can help you.
I am an electrical engineering student at the University of Houston. Math is my favorite subject. I have helped many of my friends in high school and college learn math concepts so they could make better grades in their math courses.
My favorite moment is when someone I am teaching suddenly "gets it." Then, we practice the concept so that it becomes second nature.
My friends needed help and I enjoyed helping them.
I received a 5/5 on both the AP Calculus AB and BC tests in High School. I have received high grades in Calculus 1, 2, and 3, Differential Equations, Statistics/Probability, and Complex Analysis. I have helped several students in high school and in college.

I will assess their current skill by guiding the new student through a few short on-subject questions. Then I will determine the best way to approach their learning.
I have worked with honor students and atheletes. I have worked with music majors and math majors. I am happy to say that they all gained a better understanding of how to apply math concepts.
Ask your teacher if they ever had to struggle to learn something. If it always just came easy to them, they may not know what it is like to have to learn it from the basics.
