About Savannah
My name is Savannah and I am an undergraduate student at MIT majoring in Biological Engineering. I'm heading into my junior year and I am conducting research on campus over the summer! I am a huge enjoyer of STEM and love helping people learn! I offer tutoring in a variety of STEM subjects, including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and more. I can also offer tutoring and some History and English subjects as well. I believe that everyone has the ability to succeed in a subject they wish to learn!
In my opinion, one of the best feelings in the world is the moment when the light bulb turns on in your head because you have finally figured out how to solve a problem. I love helping students achieve this feeling, and inspiring them to dig even deeper in their learning. I strive to build confidence in my students and make them believe that there's no challenge they can't overcome in their learning

When working with a new student, I like to first get some information from them or a parent about what they're working on and what they struggle with and excell in. For each lesson, I usually teach/review the material, give the student examples by working through some problems myself, and then have the student try problems with my help and on their own.
I have worked with both middle school and high school students in various subjects.
