About Andrew
Hello,
I currently work as a scientistic at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, and I recived my Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Instutute of Technology. I am also currently a science and math course instructor at Mount Tamalpais College.
I have a passion for teaching, tutoring, and mentoring students. I have strong background in mathematics and science, especially chemistry.
I can provide support with homeworks, understanding difficult concepts, and preparing for exams and projects.

As an undergraduate and graduate student, I worked as a teaching assistant where I helped review materials and homework problems with students.
I have worked with undergradaute students in research settings too, where I have taught them importnat science skills and mentored their independent growth.
Finally, I currently volunteer as a STEM course instructor at Mount Tamalpais College, which serves inmates at San Quinten State Prison. Here, I have worked with student with diverse educational backgrounds; many of whom who have not step into a classroom for several years.
Come with a clear set of issues and objectives. Our time will be much more effectively used if we both know what we are aiming to achieve.
Math and science can be very broad subjects but they also build upon themselves, so it is important to be able to identfy which areas are the difficult points.
