About Tyler
I am a math major and have taught 8th grade math for 8 years and have tutored students in math for 8 years as well. I have worked with students in every grade and math subject from 6th grade up to college level calculus. This year I am focusing on remote tutoring sessions using Zoom and google meets with great results.
Instruction: Remote
Available: Weekday night, Weekends
Rate is $60/hr; $75/hr for Calculus

The first step is always getting to know a student. It is important to get an understanding of a students background knowledge to see if they have any gaps in their knowlegde that might affect the student's mastery of the topic. It is also important to get a know a students personality, organizational skills, and any information that would help make the sessions for beneficial.
From there I like to teach the topic. The method of instruction may vary, but it usually consists of a little instruction to start, and then practicing the skill. I believe that the real learning is in the practice.
I have worked with students in every course from 6th grade mathematics up to Calculus
