About Lisa
I had a passion for Math in high school and would always get the answers correct in class. I, however, would still try to find a different approach to solve the problem and would challenge the teacher when I presented my findings.
This investigative and probing nature led me to pursue teaching as a career.
I am a trained teacher with 18 years of experience. I have worked in the Caribbean, Europe and presently North America.
My passion for teaching and my drive to succeed helps me to train and develop like-minded students by developing a conceptual understanding of the topics presented by using a problem solving approach.

My initial session is to get to know the student and Parent/guardian.
The student will be given an assessment and then we work through the best plan forward.
I have worked with students across all age range except elementary. I started in high school, and middle school then worked with adults training Elementary school teachers.
I am currently working in a high school.
Learning is a process and Math is a language!
