About Isabella
As a student, Math can be a complex subject, which may cause difficulty in understanding. I would love to guide students through these courses to help them reach a better understanding! As a tutor, I:
Work thoughtfully with students
Have experience working with students with disabilities such as ADHD, ASD, etc.
Help students reach goals such as higher grades and advanced understanding
I started teaching other students at a young age, and would often be the student other students went to if they needed help with homework and other assignments. My love for helping others learn has only grown since then!
I have tutored students and friends for almost a year, so I have experience working with others in a timely, professional, and encouraging manner. I have maintained high grades and test scores on my own account while helping others achieve their separate goals.

When working with a new student, I like to start off by getting to know the student's goals (are they trying to reach a certain test score, trying to raise their grade up, etc). Once I get an understanding of where the student is at on an academic stand point, I start explaining concepts and practicing techniques that help them achieve their goal. I believe in goal-oriented lessons, and having a goal-centered focus in order to achieve understanding in a short period of time.
I have worked with a variety of students such as honors-leveled students, struggling students, and students with disabilities. I believe every student should have the opportunity to grow a love for learning.
