About Josephine
A friendly, approachable and hardworking individual with an exceptional interest in providing English, Math, and Music concepts. Patient and pleasant, with a demonstrated ability in communicating with people from different backgrounds. I graduated BA Vocal Performance/Music and I have worked closely with children through 10 years of babysitting tutoring, and nannying. I have consistently provided one-on-one instruction, study support and feedback to students in subjects including reading, math, and music concepts for children middle school through college. I've developed action plans based on students' individual academic goals and have communicated with parents on the students' progress. I also have 3 years of experience in increasing students' understanding of the curriculum and increasing grade averages at the collegiate level. I have no problem being a mentor and coach to develop academic confidence and self sufficiency. I have references from my current students as well. Thank you for your consideration!
