About Jasmine
Hi! I graduated from FAU, in 2009, with my Bachelors and received my MBA from FAU in 2014. I began tutoring, formally and informally, in high school for family, friends, and students at a nearby middle school. Ever since, I have been tutoring in math subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, and standardized test prep (along with other subjects). I have an extreme love for math. I've excelled in every math course I have ever taken and received a 740/800 on the math section of my SAT.
I am a friendly and patient tutor who is dedicated to my teaching and takes pride in building a good tutor-student rapport with my students. After our sessions, not only do my students have an understanding of the topics covered, but they have a boost in confidence when approaching the subject. This helps us close any math gap that may have been present prior to our sessions. I always believe that one will benefit from enjoyable tutoring; therefore, I also encourage interactive and fun learning with my students. Before our initial session, I do ask my students about their likes and dislikes so I can customize our sessions to help them learn.
I truly enjoy helping my students gain confidence and knowledge in the subjects we're tutoring in. My goal is to not only help students improve their grades, but for them to also learn study techniques that will help decrease the likelihood of needing a tutor in the future.
