About John
I have been tutoring for 4 years everything from elementary to college. I adapt to different learning styles and help students understand the concepts of math.
I started teaching to help students understand a hard subject that a lot of students struggle with. Math can be confusing for many students and not understanding math can be detrimental to a students schooling.
I have worked in two different tutoring institutions helping students understand and start to enjoy the math they are doing.

My typical method is to work through a problem and explain how to do the problem. Then I have the student do a separate problem with me walking them through the problem. Finally I take a step back and allow the student to work independently with the option of asking for help when needed.
I have worked with elementary students, high school students and college students in almost every level of math.
