About Alina
Hi! I’m Alina, a recent Johns Hopkins University graduate, and MD candidate at Sidney Kimmel Medical School. I have been tutoring students for the past 8 years across all age groups - from elementary school through college. In addition, I’ve been a Biology TA for the past 3 years at Hopkins.
Known for being a kind and patient tutor, I aim to create a student-centered environment where students can feel comfortable, understood, and confident in learning and asking questions. As someone who personally benefits from repetition and visual learning, I incorporate tools like diagrams and drawings to tailor each session to the student's needs.
I specialize in Biology, Chemistry, Math, and Spanish, and have also been tutoring for the ACT for the past two years. I can’t wait to meet your student, and help them reach their goals!
