About Nicholas
As a recently admitted medical school applicant, I get a kick out of helping others. Whether it be patients or tutees, I look forward to providing my all to improve lives. Having been a tutor for 5 years, starting at the college level and learning methods of tutoring, I look forward to working together with parents and students. Also, I taylor the student's tutoring plan based on their syllabus and aptitude.
With every student, I am always amazed about how different people can learn and think. The diversity of thought processes not only is something to behold for me but also teaches me how to think differently. Also, seeing students achieve an "ah-ha" moment is monumental! I grow more enthused as students grow more confident in their work and connect more dots.
I was trained by my college's tutoring program for 2 years, taking a holistic understanding of the student from their learning style to even taking into account their environment and cultural influences.

I look for how a student may understand concepts and ideas necessary for their class. This can be done with homework assignments, discussing questions, and presenting different ways of thinking so they may learn. Whether they are more visual, verbal, or written learners, I would best aid where necessary.
I have work with students from middle school all the way up to college. I am open, however, to helping those with learning diabilities like ADHD for example.
