About Sandesh
I have been helping undergraduate students grasp fundamental physics for the past few years. The topics ranged from non-calculus kinematics to advanced mathematical methods and classical mechanics.
I love guiding students to make connections between seemingly unrelated concepts and helping them get to the solutions by themselves, rather than solving a specific problem.
Sometimes it is tough pushing someone past their intellecutual comforts, but at the end it's very rewarding and I've come to enjoy it a lot over the years.
I love getting to know people, and helping them get through intellectual hurdles.
It started with random students asking my help on some conceptual/homework questions in college. After doing that for a while, I realized that I loved tutoring, and then I started working as a tutor officially.
I have a bachelor's degree in Physics with a minor in Computer science, and am working as a laboratory instructor at Colgate.

I like to get to know them first and see where they stand in relation to the subject so that I can tailor my explanations as necesary.
I have worked with pre-med students, physics majors, high school students, and adults trying to learn stuff for fun.
Students should ideally be looking for someone who'll help them see through the concepts themselves and advance their understanding, and not someone who'll solve a problem or two - at the end of which they'll be exactly where they always were.

Sandesh helps me so much both during the tutor hours and outside of it. He is always available to answer different questions that I have.
