About Heather
Hello, my name is Heather Voss, and I am a mother of three and a wife to a wonderful husband. My children stayed home during covid in which time I learned that I have a love for teaching. After covid I home schooled my HS daughter for a year to help her get caught up with her peers, since her previous school was farther behind. Then I went on to be a substitute teacher. I loved the job so much, and well the school loved me so much, that I was hired at an elementary school as a paraprofessional for the SPED department. The following year I decided to stay at home teaching my youngest daughter at home.
I believe that all students have different interest and ways of learning. I want to learn what it is best for you to understand the topics you need help on. My tutoring is all customizable to you and your needs. If it at any time we feel that it is not being successful, I completely believe it should be reevaluated.
While I can do all basic core class in k-12 education, my background is with elementary school for the most part. I also have experience working with students that have disabilities physically and mentally.
