When I was a first-year, I was really struggling in gen chem. The professor’s teaching style did not work for me because I am a visual person. However, when Helen met with me for our tutoring sessions, she really helped me gain an understanding of gen chem! She catered the tutoring sessions in a way that benefitted my visual learning style! She also made connections to real life topics to enhance my understanding. I found myself understanding the topics more and working on practice problems also really benefitted me. She was also very flexible to meet with me and met at times that worked for me. I definitely recommend Helen as a tutor!!
