About Suhani
Hi, I am a highschool rising sophmore willing to tutor kids Algebra level and lower. I have completed up to Algebra Two, and am currently valedictorian (1/500). I have plenty experience working with kids, in fact on the side i teach children how to ice skate. In terms of my capability to be a tutor, i have maintained all As throught middle school and freshman year, and have a strong grasp of math. I beleive i will be a good teacher, and often help many of my friends with math as it is a subject i am very comfortable teaching and have plenty of patience and can explain concepts well. I enjoy math, and have my whole life. Because I am good at math, I want to use my passion to help other improve and advance themselves too. No child is too difficult to work with, it is all about patience and empathy, and helping someone learn something new is always a very gratifying experience.

In terms of working with new students, its all about first understanding and how well they are grapsing the concepts. As a tutor, its important to find where the child is in terms of math without being too judgy or impatient. Finding areas where the child struggles is crucial as it allows me to plan for the future and what needs to be worked on to help the kid advance without gaps in thier knowledge.

Math Tutoring Simplified is great at explaining Math Tutoring in a Simplified Way.
