About Chi
Hello there. My name is Chi, and I am currently a college student studying Computer Science. I am working as a math tutor in my college. I have been doing it for 6 months, and I really enjoy it. I want all of my students will get the most out of each meeting, so they don't waste their time and energy. My goal is to make sure students understand the foundation as well as the root of the problems, so they will be able to handle tests or exams on their own. I also encourage my students to ask questions and explain how they understand the problem/ concept, which helps me to evaluate the student.
After my first semster, my math professor refered me to the Tutoring Center of my college. They contacted me, and I became a math tutor!
I am working as a math tutor in college. I have been doing this for 6 months.

I try my best, but my teaching methods might not work well will everyone, so me and the student will have to know each other first to see if we are match. Then, I will let the students explain what they struggle with. Listeing to how they explain it will give me an idea of their level, so I can adjust my teaching to fit with their needs. I try to break things down in steps, so my students can follow easily as well as applying on their homework/tests.
Most of them are college students.
Most of the time, my students have hard time to describe their problems or what they need help with. Handing over homework to the tutor is not a bad idea, but if the students can specify their problems, it will certainly maximize the result of the meeting.
