About Ken
Math tutoring style is interactive. Questions by Mr. Marciel throughout each session guide student learning, using plain language and diagrams to make concepts easier to grasp. All tutoring sessions are conducted online using Zoom, screen sharing, annotation, and a comprehensive library of math books on Kindle.
Improvements in test scores and course grades are great, as well as improved ability to learn math and solve problems.
In 2008, I made a career change to mathematics education.
I have an M.S. degree in Statistics from Texas A&M University, through the department's distance learning program. Additionally, I have passed three actuary exams, in probability, financial mathematics, and statistics for risk modeling. Previously, I worked as a Highly Qualified Teacher licensed in Secondary Mathematics by Clark County School District.

All of my tutoring is conducted online using Zoom, screen sharing, annotation, and a complete library of math books in my Kindle library as needed. Tutoring can be scheduled with me at a regular time, or as needed, for 1 or 1.5 hours per session. My availability for tutoring is on weekdays at 2:00 pm, 3:30 pm, or 5:00 pm. I am closed on weekends.

My granddaughter was in Honors Geometry last year as a Sophomore at West Tech and was having a very difficult time. Ken was very patient and competent in helping her to succeed in this course. I would recommend him to anyone who needs math assistance.
