About Lauren
I have always loved tutoring and I recently graduated from Clemson Universtiy with a degree in mathematics and secondary education. I am also certified to teach students from 7th - 12th grade. My teaching style is student centered, meaning I ensure that my students are interacting with the material and not just listening during our sessions.
My favorite part about tutoring is watching my student become more and more confident in their skills! I also love to see when the material really starts to click in their brain and they get excited to do the work.
I have a bachelors in secondary math education from Clemson Universtiy and I went through a year of student teaching.

I like to spend the first session doing basic work to see where my student's understanding is. I also like to ask lots of questions to better understand their learning style and to try different techniques to see which will be the most beneficial.
