About Atticus
Hi Everyone!
I'm currently a software engineer and student with a passion for teaching. I plan to study computer science and applied mathematics & statistics at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
I've worked as a private K-12 tutor for roughly 2 years now. Additionally, I have professional volunteer teaching experience with the Youth Passion Project from 2021-2022 where I taught class sizes of 10+ students courses of my own design.
As for my experience in the field of mathematics, I've completed course work through Calculus ll as well as AP Statistics receiving all A grades. I'm now studying multivariable calculus concurrent with linear algebra.
My students are all requested to complete an initial survey covering their level of knowledge in mathematics and their prefered style of learning. I always wish to ensure that I'm providing my students with a learning environment well suited for their needs in order to maximize their learning capibilities.
