About Fatma
Since elementary school, I have been considered a Highly Gifted and Ability student. I was able to excel in all my classes through hard work and determination. I have always been the student in class that never sits still. I will always be walking around and asking if anyone needs help with anything. There were several times I was the one teaching my class the material when the teacher was absent, too busy, or didn't understand the topic completely. I truly got into tutoring when I started high school. Many of my friends and peers started coming to me and asking for help. Since then whenever a student needs to be tutored, their teachers would refer them to me.
Although I'm not professionally trained, I have numerous experience tutoring people. As a senior in high school, I am the top of my class and have completed the majority of AP classes, including AP Calculus 1&2, Chemistry, Biology, etc. I started tutoring since 10th grade in Precalculus. I was able to turn an overall C student to an A student in 2 months. In addition, I also tutored elementary school to some college students through the Boys & Girls Club of Venice.

To ensure each student feels comfortable, I start with doing a quick icebreaker. We would ask a few questions and get to know each other. Afterwards, I would prepare a diagnostic test to see where the student's level is and their strengths and weaknesses. If the student has a book available, I would ask for its name and a preview of what they would like to cover. This way I can get a headstart on the lesson and possible questions I can make.

Details
My standard pricing system varies in subjects and complexity. For example, if it's a topic I need to prepare for beforehand I would charge $35 - $40 an hour. In general, my pay range is $30-$45 an hour.
