About Sarah
I have been tutoring since November of 2018. In high school, I took and excelled in the math classes I took. Now, I am currently a Clemson University student majoring in Mathematical Sciences.

The first meeting I typically talk about what the student wants help with specifically and make a list of topics that we need to go over. The remaining time, we will start going over the first topic on the list or one requested by the student. After that meeting, we will be going over rest of the topics until the student feels comfortable with the information. I also try to make short quizzes or tests after we finish a topic for them to take to make sure they truly understand the information.
I have worked with high school students, but I am able to work with middle schoolers as well. Typically I work with students who are taking the following classes: pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus, AP calculus AB/BC.
Do not wait. If you are confused and have tried getting extra help for the teacher but still don't understand the material, do not hesitate to look into getting a tutor. The longer you wait the more you will have to cram for tests.
