About Jessica
I'm currently attending Strayer University to complete my BA December 2020, and then will obtain my MBA from there as well. I worked as a finance manager for the corporate world for 7 years before helping my daughter form a non profit. I take school matters and homework very seriously with adding every day use so the student can apply what makes sense to him/her.
I love helping students see how everything they learn can apply in everyday life as they know it. Also, of course, love seeing their grades go up!
I currently am on the last leg of obtaining my BA from Strayer University. Deans list, 4.0 student and run a non-profit. I do have a finance background, but outside of business, that would not regularly be a benefit. Applying real world scenarios for the student to see how easy a problem can be, that is the ticket!

Sitting down and planning out goals that are achievable is priority, from there seeing which studies they are struggling in as well as what their strengths are. Using their strengths in one study could help another.
A recent event I am especially fond of is that of my daughters fundraiser to raise money for her non profit. We hosted an amazing event this past December and raised 20,000 to donate back to her cause.
