About Madelaine
As a former university tutor, masters student, and software engineer I am passionate about the importance in enganging students in STEM. It shouldnt be fun not intimidating!
I like how we are shaping the future!
I first became interested in teaching as an undergraduate student.
In my undergraduate studies I worked in the Student Success Center as a Math, Computer Science, Physics, and Biology tutor. I receive professional training with this job. I am currently a Masters of Science student at Johns Hopkins University studying Computer Science and also work as a Software Engineer.

I first get to know the student, what their strengths and interests are. This is crucial for success. If you can relate new information to something they are familiar with, they are more likely to be engaged in the material.
