About Cassandra
I'm a recent Biochem graduate with an Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts. I have tutored Math and Science for over a decade and I have worked as a Chef for over a decade as well. Due to my varied worked experience, I have the ability to use a wide range of examples that are relevant to day-to-day life that will encourage the student's brain to retain the information as important, relevant, useful, and interesting. I am passionate about Math and Science and I use and apply my Scientific knowledge through the methods I use to teach the material. I have assisted a number of students in reaching their goals and I would be delighted to help you do the same!
I love the light bulb moments that students have when they grasp concepts. It also makes my day to hear from them once they graduate or get into their programs and do well on their exams and to hear how they've succeeded and continued to use the study skills and techniques that I was able to share with them. It is a privilege to be a part of someone's learning process and journey to acheiving their life goals!

Cassie took the time to learn my learning style! I’m 37 going back to school and she had a way of making things click! When I 1st started with her I had already had my 1st 2 exams in a&p 1 and failed both! I started tutoring with Cassie and by the end of the semester I was less than a point from a B and in a&p 2 I finished with a high B!!! I highly recommend her to anyone!!!!
She is extremely knowledgeable and really good at relating the material to concepts people can understand. She’s very animated which helps significantly to remember the information she teaches when that topic comes up in class, on a test, or in real life.
