About Karim
Currently a Masters's Student in Mathematics at the City University of New York. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Honors in Economics and Mathematics. I have 2 years of professional experience in tutoring grades 5th-12th and college students. Coming from the public education system, I understand the struggle that students go through when studying math and in response, I have learned new teaching methods that will help students understand complex concepts in different areas of math.
The most important thing is making sure a student understands a concept and that they feel more comfortable with mathematics. That's why the best thing about tutoring is learning about the student's successes after a tutoring session.
