At NYC Top Tutors, we provide an individualized learning environment catered specifically to each student. A comprehensive, diagnostic test is provided to each student, so we can assess his or her previous knowledge in the appropriate subject. Using the data and analytics generated from the results of the test, we provide a tutoring regimen to fit each student’s academic needs, learning style, and personality.
Since 2008, I’ve worked with hundreds of students to significantly improve scores on the SAT & ACT exams. I’ve scored in the 99th percentile on both the SAT & ACT exams, receiving a National Merit Scholarship in 2002. Many of my students have been accepted to Ivy League Schools, such as Harvard & Columbia, and have received scholarships because of their high ACT/SAT scores.
My advice would be to find someone who best fits your personality and learning style. Ask specific questions about the teacher's experience and give instances of how they helped similar students.
I always enjoy hearing from parents or students about their progress.
