About Vincent
I am a college junior studying mechanical engineering. I can provide tutoring on a wide range of topics such as; Algebra, Calculus, Physics, and CAD. As a college student, I can give tutoring that is less intimidating and also provide college advice.
I was a Teaching Assistant for an introductory coding class, and I found the job very rewarding. I especially enjoyed simplifying topics and making them more digestible for the students.
I was a volunteer tutor in high school for some math classes and chemistry. More recently, I was a Teaching Assistant for an introductory programming course. As a TA, I assisted the professor in answering student questions, lead weekly labs, graded exams, and taught discussion sessions.

I would start by assessing the student's knowledge on the topic and get an understanding of what the student wants to work one. This way I can prioritize the ideas that the student wants to focus on.
After interacting with 300+ students, I have encountered students entirely new to the subject, who were having a little trouble getting a grasp of the basics as well as experienced students that were stuck on particularly difficult problems.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
If it is a matter of what type of learning environment or tutoring style works best for a student, I think the student should be direct so the tutor can adjust their teaching to better accommodate the student.
