About Trevor
I'm a fourth year math major at UF with a passion for helping you get through the tricky concepts. I'll make sure you ace the next exam!
When working with students, I cherish the moment when complex concept's finally click along with the satisfaction of knowing I contributed to their success.
I started privately tutoring when I started the calculus track in high school, since then I've tutored algebra, geometry, calculus 1, 2 and 3, along with differential equations.
I'm in my last year of my math major at UF - focusing on higher level calculus.

When begining work with a new student, the first step is to understand how they learn best - watching, hearing, doing or some combination. From there we can assess the weaknesses present and formulate a plan for success.
While I have tutored some high school students, I've worked most with college students in upper-level maths.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
The first step is to think through your preferred teaching style, then what your specific needs are. Are you struggling with following certain procedures? Applying concepts? Understanding ideas? Once you start asking yourself these questions, I'll have a better idea on how to help you succeed.

Details
For the first lesson, I offer a discounted rate of $30 an hour. This is to help ensure the match is going to be beneficial to the student without breaking the bank. After the first lesson, my standard rate is $45 an hour.
