About Alessandro
I enjoy watching students learn while encouraging independent thinking and basic problem solving. I try to help students understand math by using real world problems as well as teaching tricks to help while taking tests.
I had a friend approach me for help with math and began referring me to other students.
I have an Associates in Science and a Bachelor's degree in biology.

I like trying different approaches with the student. Usually I will first demonstrate the problem and reflect with the student which learning approach they prefer. Once I get to know the student I tailor my questions and teaching approach to their individual need.
I've worked with younger kids doing general "homework help" and have also helped college students with exams. I've worked with learning disabled students as well as gifted.
Ensure you feel comfortable with your tutor. You should feel like you can ask any question even if you feel it is silly. Your tutor should answer with respect and make you feel more confident not doubtful.
